Amoray Dive Resort is looking for a Food Truck Cook to join our dynamic team and be part of an exciting culinary experience on wheels located onsite of the resort!
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and /or ability required for this position.
Duties and Requirements:
-Cook in a food truck setting
-Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation
-Must wash dishes, clean workstations, and organize supplies.
-Provide excellent customer service to guests visiting the food truck.
-Prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment is required.
-Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and basic cooking skills.
-Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations.
-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
-Comfortable using kitchen tools and equipment, including knives
-Verbal and written communication skills
Good knowledge of Meat and Fish cooking temperature and stages of doneness
Must know how to clean, fillet, marinate, and properly store all meat, fish, and poultry
Some knowledge of international cooking techniques and basic recipes
Basic recipe knowledge in Meats, Fish, Vegetables, Fruits, Stocks & Sauce preparations
Some leadership knowledge
Basic knowledge of kitchen cleaning chemicals
Basic kitchen organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
