The Director of Hospitality is responsible for the daily operations of the concierge department and culinary services while ensuring the team delivers the highest quality of service possible to our residents, families, and visitors. The Director of Hospitality ensures that Residents have an exceptional experience and that the highest quality standards are met. Integral in delivering on our promise of Exceptional Senior Living by hiring, training, and coaching the team that will be the best in the community at serving our Residents.

Delivers results contributing to the mission and overall success by accomplishing performance objectives focused on business revenues, resident and associate satisfaction, effectiveness, and efficiencies.

Responsibly manages and supervises 24-hour concierge and dining services team.

Manages team scheduling, work assignments, performance reviews, hiring, training and discipline consistent with company policy

Ensures quality standards and procedures are met and maintained.

Works with Building Services Director to ensure a safe and secure environment for residents and associates

Plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operations of the Dining Services and Concierge Departments

Assist service staff during mealtime as needed

Ensures all resident dietary needs and restrictions are met

Advise management of any concerns regarding residents

Works with Executive Chef to plan and implement menus and activities in the dining room.

Oversee resident billing of food service charges

Participate in the Manager on Duty monthly program

Work closely with Marketing and Activities personnel to coordinate the planning of special events

Attend staff meetings, contributing to the overall quality of Parc Communities

Attend and participate in monthly Resident Food Committee Meetings

Ensures exceptional resident and associate relations

Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-
3-5 years’ experience of proven leadership expertise, hospitality and fine-dining background preferred.

A proven track record of meeting budgets, an understanding of P&L statements, and cost/inventory control

Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team.

Strong attention to detail and ability to execute under pressure.

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Must work as a concierge, server, utility worker if needed.

Knowledge of OSHA-MSDS sheets and procedures

ServSafe Manager Certification

Knowledge of fire, safety, and infection control procedures
