The manufacturing facility in Randleman, NC is currently in need of a highly motivated Senior Process Engineer/Analyst to lead the implementation of process improvements. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing plant information systems, troubleshooting any technical issues, and providing support for existing functionality. This position also entails senior technical support and applications development responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop solutions to resolve engineering system issues and ensure accurate communication between the engineering department and the shop floor through our MES systems
- Enhance the systems architecture by implementing improvements, such as upgrading the technical infrastructure and optimizing machine/operator/gauging instructions and shop floor user interface.
- Demonstrate leadership in applying information technologies for CAD/CAM/CAE, shop floor information systems, and manufacturing solutions.
- Lead and execute systems-related projects, including planning, testing, and implementation of new software functionality.
- Resolve user problems and communicate resolutions to internal customers while ensuring excellent customer service.
- Maintain and improve the integration of manufacturing and business systems within the Asheboro business.
- Perform system maintenance, continuous improvement, and major development efforts to support the manufacturing facility.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of the business processes and technical computer architecture implemented in the plant to facilitate those processes.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required
Skills/Experience:
Proficiency in computer programming/coding with experience in programming languages such as PLSQL, SQL, Java, or similar.
Minimum 2 years of experience required; 5 years preferred
Experience in a manufacturing environment with automated engineering systems that provide programs/instructions to manufacturing operations is preferred.
