Job Overview:
Join our team as a Veterinary Receptionist where you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their beloved pets. As a key member of our veterinary clinic, you will provide exceptional customer service while supporting the smooth operation of the clinic.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Assist in processing payments and handling financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate client records and update patient information in the system.
- Coordinate with veterinary staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Keep reception area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Provide basic information on pet care, services offered, and clinic procedures to clients.
- Assist in managing incoming and outgoing pet admissions.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a veterinary setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with pet grooming, kennel operations, animal handling, or related fields is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical collection processes or veterinary critical care is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Passion for working with animals and providing exceptional customer service.
