Marketing Representative

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Reporting to the COO, this position will focus equally on communication and marketing responsibilities. Using a variety of communication skills and creativity, the Marketing Representative will create and execute strategic and targeted social media posts, website updates, marketing collateral and internal and external communications to further enhance our reputation in the field.
The position focuses on the ability to make connections with people while purposely driving toward results. Poise, professionalism and empathetic communication style based on natural warmth and enthusiasm is a key to achieving the goals of this role. A self-confident, extroverted personality that can engage others and positively impact our business by using their knowledge and skill set such as;

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Daily and weekly communication with BDSC team regarding product updates, new hires, sales opportunities, etc.
- Monitor competition and provide timely updates to C-Suite
- Create training modules for Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, and HR
- Issue press releases and participate in other opportunities for brand recognition
- Update sales materials and product catalog as needed
- Author quarterly newsletter for BDSC clients and/or vendor partners
- End of Day reports detailing activity and an action plan for the following day/week
- Social media program – create/monitor social media content calendar & execute programs that inform & increase audience engagement across all social channels.
- Create presentations needed by C-Suite
- Promoting and coordinating special events hosted by our leadership team, sales team and vendor partners – invitations, reservations, food details, RSVP’s, attendance results.
- Working in tandem with the VP of Sales & COO’s office to create the necessary marketing materials for Sales Team, special events and other outreach efforts
- Facilitate and create email blasts from BDSC to its clients and vendor partners
- Maintains weekly calendar for any and all company mailings, events and social obligations
- Leads & participates in brainstorming sessions, creates action plans & develops new ideas for future communication/marketing messages designed to increase sales & facilitate client & vendor growth/retention
- Creates & monitors surveys utilizing Survey Monkey on an as-needed basis
Experience:
- Proficient in design, layout & production using Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, In design, etc.)
- Web-publishing experience using dynamic content management systems (i.e. WordPress)
- Strong writing and communication skills, demonstrated across multiple channels, including email, web & print
- Experience interfacing with physicians in a professional capacity is preferred (sales, practice management, project management, clinical training)
- Knowledge & experience with email programs, Instagram, Linked In, Survey Monkey, social media, Facebook, and event coordination
- Must have experience working autonomously, with demonstrated sound judgement
- Previous experience in Medical Industry a plus
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations or Communication
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Marcom position or similar role
- Strong computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, GSuite,
- Exceptional level of professionalism

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
