Darigold is seeking a motivated Packaging Operator to be part of Darigold’s Lynden, Washington plant. The Packaging Operator must possess the desire and ability to contribute to the success of the Lynden plant. As a member of the Operations team, the Packaging Operator will work with others to achieve team goals. The Packaging Operator’s role is to work independently without direct supervision in a fast-paced environment. This is a union position.
What you will do: (other duties may be assigned):
- Operation of the 25kg filler, tote filler and forklift operation in accordance with Darigold standard operating procedures, good manufacturing practices and all regulatory requirements.
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds and routinely bend and reach below knees
- Work will consist of prolonged standing and walking for most of the 10-12 hour shift.

- Ability to work independently without direct supervision in a fast paced environment.
- Self-starter with a good mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, read record instrument data, establish and maintain effective verbal communications with others.
- Attention to detail, must be able to complete multiple and repetitive tasks, must be committed to accuracy and quality.
- Work with others to achieve team goals.
- Flexibility in hours worked.
- Must maintain high attendance standards and be trusted with a high level of responsibility.
- Able to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
- Reliability is a must.
- Available to work overnight shift Rotating shift working 4 days and having 4 days off. 5pm-5am
