We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing and Business Development Executive to be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing, business development, and aftercare initiatives to drive business growth and increase brand awareness within the behavioral health market.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Provide oversight, strategy, execution, and measurement of the effectiveness of all Foundation marketing and business development efforts.
2. Work with senior management to review, revise, develop, implement and manage strategic marketing initiatives to meet the needs of the Foundation, including all printed materials, website, social media sources and any other identified marketing sources.
3. Provide leadership, training and support for marketing and business development team members on fulfillment of capacity and population goals.
4. Ensure marketing and outreach for organization's family of services to insurance referral sources, including healthcare systems, judicial referral partners, EAPs, unions, companies, clinics, other substance use treatment facilities, community organizations, learning centers and other referral sources.
5. Host regularly scheduled meetings with direct reports to maintain open lines of communication regarding goal achievement as well as barriers or concerns.
6. Collaborate with direct and indirect reports as well as other necessary facility management on establishing and fostering referral source partnerships.
7. Coordinate and maintain a comprehensive referral source database for the Foundation.
8. Work closely with the BD/Outreach/RSS team to research conferences or events to participate in and raise awareness of organization in the community.
9. Conduct or research market data to identify trends, opportunities and competitive landscape within the behavioral health industry. Analyze market data to identify potential areas for growth and development.
10. Identify key target markets and develop tailored marketing and development strategies to reach them.

12. Manage and enhance brand in the industry. Review, revise and maintain brand messaging and position to ensure consistency across all channels.
13. Provide oversight for tracking and analysis of performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives. Provide regular reports on key performance metrics and ROI.
14. Provide oversight for the project plan and implementation for annual report.
15. Assist Director of Development with special events and staff training at each facility to promote a consistent message within the community, including production of collateral materials.
16. Work with human resources to develop and manage internal marketing strategies to increase employee engagement, which should include multiple methods of communication.
17. Ensure timely completion of Big 5 performance management tool by the required deadlines and use of SMART goals to support annual performance compensation review.
18. Role model and uphold the core principles of culture and contribute to a positive working environment for all team members.
19. Actively participate in Executive Leadership Council, quarterly board meetings and annual training conferences for the Foundation.
20. Articulate the mission, vision, values and goals of the Foundation through correspondence, presentations and other opportunities.
21. Maintain strict confidentiality on all client and Foundation matters, referring questionable issues or activities to the President/CEO.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Excellent strategic marketing skills
- Proven experience in marketing and business development, preferably leading a team in the behavioral health or healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of mental health issues, treatment modalities and industry trends.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively; must work well under deadline pressure

- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office required

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Marketing or Business degree preferred.
- MBA preferred.
Experience:
- Seven years of Business Development/Marketing related experience required.
- Experience managing business development team required.
- Experience with non-profit, substance use, health care, mental health or education is preferred.
- Experience with SalesForce or other CRM preferred.

Pay: $140,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
