American Insulated Glass is a leading glass fabricator and wholesale distributor, specializing in providing high-quality insulated, laminated, tempered, fire-rated, and beveled glass products to glazing contractors and window manufacturers. Dedicated to serving both commercial and residential end markets, AIG also distributes a full line of float glass, mirror, and decoration glass solutions.
We are seeking a hard-working, reliable, and punctual customer service representative to join our growing team. The customer service representative, or CSR, position will act as a liaison between sales and production, provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries, and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities & duties:
- Manage incoming/outgoing calls, emails, and faxes in an office environment
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction promptly and effectively
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
- Provide accurate, valid, and complete information to production by using the right methods/tools
- Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas
- Deal with customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution. Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
- Other duties as assigned.
Require Skills/ Abilities:
- Detail-oriented, professional attitude, reliable
- Technology literate with intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
Education & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service (preferably in manufacturing)
- Data entry experience (required)
- High School diploma or equivalent (preferred)
