Practice
- As a Level 3 trauma community hospital with a legacy spanning 130 years, our facility offers a 15-bed census for medical and surgical patients, a 5-bed ICU, and 22 inpatient psychiatry beds, all expertly staffed by Sound Physicians.
- Situated just outside the Bronx, we serve a diverse patient population with a low-volume ED yet high acuity, providing essential specialty services, including cardiology, gastroenterology, neurology, general surgery, urology, infectious disease, and podiatry.
- Designated as a primary receiving stroke center and holding a geriatric accredited emergency department, the hospital also functions as a department of correction receiving facility, with a 10-bed DOC unit – a distinction shared by only 1 of 3 hospitals in southern NY.
- Adjacent to the main building, our outpatient clinic conveniently operates on-site.
- We gather as a team bi-monthly, promoting a culture of support and flexibility to accommodate personal and outdoor pursuits.
- Annual compensation ranges from $283,000 to $347,000 per year. The lower range applies to day shifts, while the higher range is for night shifts.
