Barr Field Services is an international wind service company. Our welding technicians
travel performing specialized repairs and maintenance on wind turbines.
MUST TRAVEL 100% - Flexible R&R schedules available.
Wind Turbine training is provided - You are paid for your training time.
Weld rig and all required tooling provided.

Driving record required, No DUI/DWI
Background check required.
Drug Test and DOT Physical required.

Experience:
Three years experience in SMAW and GMAW welding processes.
Must be capable of welding in all positions including 1G, 2G, 3G, and 4G: flat,
horizontal, vertical(up), and overhead, or 6G to qualify for all positions.
Must have experience in welding exotic materials including stainless steel and
Inconel, separately, or in combination with carbon steel.
Must be able to read and follow AWS welding procedures.
Must be able to shape and contour completed welds by grinding.
Should be capable of directing and training members of your team in preheating,
maintaining interpass temperatures per procedure, equipment setup, and
contouring completed welds per specifications and customer requirements.
