Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer
Core Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers and management to establish program objectives.
- Provide hands-on technical support for processes and machinery.
- Support program planning, including timelines, content, and funding.
- Develop interfaces for equipment communication with shop-floor tools.
- Design and program electrical systems for production machines.
- Manage software changes for safety systems, PLCs, HMIs, Robotics, SCADA, and PC logic.
- Ensure program performance by setting standards and conducting tests.
- Generate project status reports through data analysis.
- Deliver on project and equipment goals.
- Maintain professional knowledge through continuous learning.
- Monitor project scope and escalate issues when necessary.
- Adhere to corporate, OSHA, and NEC electrical standards.
- Define solution architectures for MES/Ignition/Apriso and develop specifications.
- Provide expertise in PLCs for MES solution implementation.

Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Required Qualifications:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years in manufacturing engineering, operations, quality, or project management.
- Expertise in automation, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, SCADA, and robotics.
- Proficiency in project management life cycle.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience in new machinery project launches.
- Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, Ignition (SCADA), and robot programming.
- Knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, Python, OPC programming, and machine integration.
- Expertise in Controls Logix, SLC, and Factory Talk software.
- Ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems.
- Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering experience is a plus.
This position is an onsite role, Candidate must be able to go to the office daily.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
