Our Regional Sales Managers are charged with effectively growing their assigned sales territory through new business generation as well as growth within current clients accounts to expand their business and/or to replace existing equipment.
Regional Sales Managers will need to be well versed in capital equipment sales, mechanical operations, water systems, hydraulic and electric power, the ability to read simple prints and preferably have knowledge of the car wash industry.
Responsibilities

The Regional Sales Manager works with current and prospective clients to explain how Motor City Wash Works’ portfolio of products continually builds a more profitable car wash operating environment through:

Equipment Sales

Chemical Solutions

Service Support

Learn all products and service offerings within a short timeframe and become the subject matter expert on tunnel car wash equipment

Generate new business by developing and working new leads and opportunities

Generate client proposals that work within established company pricing and discount structure

Travel to current and prospective client sites to assess needs and make recommendations for replacing current equipment and/or for installing a new carwash equipment

Coordinate responsibilities with area service manager, technicians, and delivery personnel to grow client service activities

Execute the order process for equipment sales including obtaining delivery date and monitoring pre-installation preparation at customer locations.

Follow up with clients - post installation, to ensure satisfaction of company products and services

Attend and participate in various trade shows and conventions including generating and following up on sales leads

Attend public hearings or meetings as necessary to assist customers in obtaining required government authorization to install MCWW vehicle wash systems.

Maintain relationships with clients to understand and identify evolving customer needs and trouble shoot problems, facilitating customer retention

Work with the sales team to set goals and communicate status of sales activities, submit reports and maintain communication with various individuals and departments within the company to advise of problems, suggestions and accomplishments
Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience in a consultative, B2B sales role in a similar industry

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related degree preferred.

Proven track record of identifying and understanding market potential; developing and executing sales strategies with cold calling and warm leads

Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills - proactively communicate with clients via phone, email and in person

Problem solver who thrives on challenges and can simplify complex issues.

Strong negotiation skills; pursue and close new business and revenue streams within a typical sales cycle of approximately 90-180 days

Work collaboratively within a team to manage the client relationship to retain, manage and build account revenue

Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory – 50% of the Regional Sales Managers time is spent on the road. Overnight travel is required.

Valid driver’s license, including positive driving record

Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office

Knowledge of NetSuite CRM a plus
