In this exciting and rewarding position, you will provide exceptional nursing care in our Ambulatory Surgery Center. This position involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of dedicated professionals to develop and implement a care plan for our patients, including providing detailed care instructions. An ability to work efficiently and effectively with others, providing compassionate and cutting edge patient care while also contributing to the positive and collaborative team environment at UCLA Health is a must.
Incumbent may be required to travel between Community Ambulatory Surgery Center sites as needed based on staffing requirements.
Salary range: $59.46 - $88.39/hourly
Qualifications
Graduate of and accredited school of nursing with a BSN or MSN degree required
Current and valid California RN license required
Current BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a Hospital Based PACU, preferred
Must have the ability to float between Community ASC sites
Inpatient PACU or Transport RN, preferred
Conscious sedation experience, preferred
Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively within an interdisciplinary team
Demonstrated ability to direct nursing practice and prioritize problem solving
Demonstrate consistent critical thinking skills
Excellent time management skills with demonstrated ability to constructively engage in a fast-paced environment
