Premier Medical Resources is looking for an entry level full-time Benefits and Payroll Administrator to join our team. If you are enthusiastic, reliable, detail-oriented, and a team player, come join our team!
What Will You Do
Benefits:
· Administer corporate benefit plans and programs, including group insurances medical, dental, vision, HSA, life, disability, COBRA, and wellness.
· Oversee the 401(k) plan, ensuring fiduciary compliance.
· Coordinate daily benefits processing, including enrollment and terminations.
· Develop and deliver employee communications and education materials, plan summaries, benefit statements and correspondence as it relates to benefit plans and programs.
· Consult with employees on questions or issues related to benefit eligibility, plan provisions, and claims.
· Ensure that all benefit policies, procedures, and plan documentation are current and assist in the preparation and timely filing of required plan testing, annual reports, and federal/state forms such as ACA and 5500s.
· Coordinate and process benefit invoices, including performing reconciliations and audits to ensure correct deductions and payments are captured.
· Manages Paid Time Off (PTO) accruals and adjustments, applies appropriate PTO plans for new employees and process annual PTO rollover.
· Receive and process worker’s compensation claims, including gathering necessary documentation and submitting claims to insurance carrier.
Payroll:
· Accurately administers bi-weekly payroll activities including time and labor entry, processing of tax documents, and ensuring compliance.
· Transmit payroll wages for direct deposit via ACH to banking institutions.
· Resolve payroll discrepancies and assist employees with any payroll queries.
· Train and supports users in creation and maintenance of schedules and bi-weekly timekeeping.
· Develops, recommends and/or maintains processes and procedures to ensure the efficiency of the payroll process.
· Prepare periodic payroll reports, compile key operational payroll metrics
· Keep abreast of current payroll tax laws and regulations.
· Monitors proper HR and Pay data in HRIS system, including reviewing new hire data to ensure accuracy and completeness
· Review, interpret, enter, and maintain child support and garnishment information in accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations
· Assist with quarterly and year-end payroll processes including but not limited to company specific activities, compliance activities, audits, W-2 audits and W2c processing.
Who You Are:
- Degreed individual with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, human resources, or related field.
- Experienced professional with a minimum of three (3) years in payroll and benefits with a mid-size or larger organization.
- Expert of employee benefits including 401K, COBRA, HIPAA, FLSA, ERISA, FMLA, and other leaves of absences.
- Proficient in payroll software (Paycor desirable but not required).
- Passionate about benefits and payroll.
