Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong background in kitchen management. As a Sous Chef, you will play a key role in supporting the Head Chef in all aspects of food preparation and kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in creating and executing menu items
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring high quality and presentation standards
- Manage kitchen staff and coordinate daily tasks
- Help with inventory management and ordering supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Supervise food production to ensure consistency and efficiency
Experience:
- Proven experience as a cook or chef in a restaurant setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and train kitchen staff
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Experience in team management and kitchen operations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
