The Town of Holly Springs is seeking an experienced, passionate, and hard-working professional to join the Development Services Team as its next Building Plans Reviewer II or III, Multi-Trade with a salary range of $70,604 to $112,276 (Pay grade L/M) dependent on qualifications and experience. The Building Plans Reviewer, Multi-Trade position will utilize their building construction knowledge to perform both residential and non-residential plan review for determining compliance with the North Carolina Building Codes and related Town standards, ordinances and policies. The Building Plans Reviewer, Multi-Trade position is part of the recently formed Development Services Department that brings together planners, engineers, and building code officials to promote collaboration, innovation, and efficiency for the development process. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
What you will be doing: • Perform multi-trade plan reviews on residential and non-residential buildings in the fields of building, electrical, mechanical and plumbing trades.• Prepare and report notifications of defects or approval of plan reviews completed. • Coordinate and provide interpretations of the codes for contractors, builders, designers, business owners, and homeowners within the Town and ETJ.• Attend continuing educations classes required by the North Carolina Code Qualifications Board.
