Sales Advisors act as the principal point of contact between Gravitec and our extensive client base. You advise customers in selecting the products and services that best protect their employees and themselves. Our Sales Advisors possess excellent customer service skills, have the ability to identify potential new markets, can source customer leads and confidently approach prospective new customers with tailor-made solutions for their particular needs.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Learn, understand and adhere to company and industry fall protection standards, safety programs and policies. This includes advising current and potential customers as they navigate the purchase of fall protection equipment or training services.
- Display excellent customer service. Provides quotes, processes PO’s, sales orders and contract negotiation including terms and conditions utilizing communication by phone, email and in person with prospective, new and existing customers.
- Ability to review and enhance your own sales performance using provided sales metrics and dashboards, develop account plans and strategies and manage lead sources while aiming to exceed sales goals.
- Assist in the development of literature, promotional materials and marketing ideas that will drive business development.
- Assist in maintaining integrity of customer data base, ensuring the CRM is updated throughout the sales cycle (ACT! CRM).
Hiring Requirements:
- Previous B2B and/or direct sales experience with demonstrable results
- Creative problem solving and critical thinking. Willingness to learn.
- Confident and articulate in written and verbal communications.
- Demonstrated ability to interact directly with clients, maintain existing and build new relationships and skillfully interpreting and advising to meet client needs to work under pressure and meet deadlines managing all areas of the sales process, from prospecting to closing
- Be effective at building collaborative relationships, functioning as part of a team as well as working independently.
- Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office. Willingness to learn additional software programs as needed.
Beneficial Skills or Experience:
- Previous fall protection experience or knowledge.
- Prior experience with SAP Business 1 and ACT!
- Trade show experience.
Compensation and benefits:
- Competitive Hourly Compensation starting at $50,000 - $100,000 depending on experience + commission

- Paid Vacation – Employees accrue 80 hours of vacation time per year.
