MUST SUBMIT A RESUME AND PREFERRED THAT YOU HAVE WOMEN'S HEALTH EXPERIENCE.
Major Duties:
- Perform general nursing care to patients; care within scope of nursing practice.
- Provide patient education/counseling.
- Ensure patient care needs are met and resolves patient care problems.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Assist physician during treatment, examination and testing of patients as requested.
- Observe, record, and report patient’s condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to physicians.
- Coordinate patient testing, procedures, surgeries and admissions.
- Compile appropriate paperwork and maintain logs.
- Schedule surgeries, copies charts and maintains logs/boards.
- Triage and return patient phone calls.
- Consult with physician as appropriate.
- Assist in maintenance of controlled substances log and cabinet.
- Attend required meetings and participates in committees as requested.
- Perform related work as requested
Education: Graduate from an accredited school of vocational or registered nursing.
License: LVN/RN license in the state of Texas.
Certification: CPR certification
