Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated LCADC to join our team. The Counselor will provide therapeutic services to individuals dealing with outpatient substance abuse disorders (MAT).
Duties:
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy and behavioral therapy.
- Provide addiction counseling to clients.
- Utilize psychotherapy techniques to help clients manage substance abuse challenges.
- Collect and analyze data related to client progress and treatment outcomes.
- Lead group therapy sessions focusing on behavioral health improvement.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans for clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
- State licensure as a Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and mental health diagnoses.
- Experience in addiction counseling.
- Proficiency in conducting individual and group therapy sessions using various therapeutic modalities.
- Knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based practices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and staff.
