Do you love music, nature, food and people of all ages? The Ashokan Center, a 501c (3) not for profit, would love to meet you. We are looking for a bright, energetic, customer service/detail oriented and flexible individual to fill the position of Line Cook.
This is a full-time position with the possibility of working over the weekend. As a member of the Ashokan Center culinary team, you will work alongside Executive Chef Bill Warnes and his dedicated but fun-loving staff.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Laughing
- Assisting the Executive Chef
- Preparing food for meals in accordance to the established menu
- Maintaining a clean and sanitized work space
- Receiving/properly storing food deliveries
- Communicating with and assisting guests
- Working with other departments to ensure the needs of our guests are met
Experience cooking in a professional kitchen is preferred. Basic understanding of kitchen tools and equipment is required.
You must have a valid drivers' license. References are required.
