Job Summary
The brand operations and analytics lead is charged with leading the effort to bring the brand to market while evaluating in market sales performance. This position partners with key stakeholders to drive all renovation and innovation (inclusive of claims and graphics) on the brand while representing the brand on all MOC initiatives. The operations lead is responsible for working through any market/internal issue, such as pricing, FDA regulations, and supply chain, to ensure that any change will result in minimal impact to the brand.
Essential Duties Responsibilities
- Serve as brand lead on MOC projects
- Lead innovation and renovation projects on the brand through launch/execution
- Lead artwork initiatives on the brand (inclusive of major redesigns through small updates)
- Work with Legal and Regulatory Affairs on brand claims (broad claims)
- Lead brand relationship to R&D, RA, Pricing, Sales, Legal, and MOC as it relates to current state/innovation/renovation
- Lead general market research projects and distillation of results to marketing (working with Market Research Director)
- Drive story telling through the power of data and leveraging that data
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in marketing or at a marketing agency
- Expertise in IRI data preferred
- Experiencing building sales presentations for CPG brands preferred
- Demonstrated experience managing complicated projects with multiple stakeholders
Skills and Competencies
- Superior project management skills
- Knowledge of brand management/marketing principles
- Superior analytical skills and ability to translate all forms of data into actionable insights, as well as present the data.
- Ability to work with and understand P&Ls
- Ability to lead different parts of the Sales organization at it relates to in market brand strategy execution
- Detail orientated and solution driven
- Superior communication skills with the ability to work BOTH independently and part of a team. Must be an active listener, as well.
