We are looking for a dynamic and energized Licensed Nursing Home Administrator LNHA in the Boston Metro Area. The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator LNHA is responsible for the operations of the 160 bed skilled nursing facility (SNF) in accordance with current federal, state (Massachusetts), and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern long-term care facilities to assure the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our residents at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing home facility SNF
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
- Manage and supervise staff, including nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure proper medication administration and adherence to resident rights
- Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and community resources to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain financial acumen by managing budgets, monitoring expenses, and maximizing revenue
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and satisfaction
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing nursing homes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
