Responsibilities:
- Create and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational goals
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for preschool-aged children
- Teach basic academic skills, such as letter recognition, counting, and shapes
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities to enhance cognitive, social, and physical development
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques
- Ensure the health and safety of all students in the classroom
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Conscious Discipline experience or training is a plus
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff members
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques to promote positive student behavior
- Familiarity with concepts appropriate for preschool-aged children
