Job Description: The ideal candidate will have previous bar experience, working knowledge of POS systems, and service industry priority. Charismatic personality looking for a fun and artistic environment. Must be BASSET certified.
Responsibilities
· Applicants must have a high standard of customer service, a professional, self-motivated, and outgoing personality.
· Must be able to work with accuracy and efficiency.
· Work as a team to create a memorable guest experience.
· Be familiar with and adhere to bar protocols.
· Be familiar with Federal, State, County and Municipal liquor laws.
· Keep the bar clean and stocked while always providing friendly and attentive experience.
· Check ID on any patron attempting to buy alcohol if they appear to be younger than age 30.
· Adhere to the Stage 773 Front of House dress code.
· Check for daily specials, event specific cocktails, new menu items etc.
· Occasionally work special events (weddings, corporate events, fundraisers, gala events, etc)
· Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of bar, menus, back bar, coolers etc.
· Complete daily checklist and weekly cleaning duties.
· Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the bar as directed by the bar manager.
Physical/ Mental Demands
· Ability to work on your feet for 4 plus hours at a time
· Ability to lift 40 pounds (keg)
· Ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor in all situations
· Must be able to multi-task while creating a memorable customer experience.
Qualifications
· Must be available to work evenings and weekend including some weekend days and holidays.
· Prior experience performing high volume food/beverage work.
· Experience with cash management/POS system.
· Ability to be punctual and reliable.
· Demonstrated ability to thrive and multi-task in a fast-paced, high energy environment.
· Ability to work independently with good judgment and attention to detail.
· Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
· Proven ability to be self-motivated, assume responsibility and take initiative.
· Ability to effectively identify and communicate issues or problems to management.
· Experience working with an arts organization is a plus.
· Experience working with Revel POS is a plus.
· Preferred candidates must have BASSET- Beverage Alcohol Sellers and Servers Education and Training.
