Respiratory Therapist Job Purpose: To provide, high quality, loving and personal care to all those entrusted to us.
Respiratory Therapist Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interview and examine patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders
- Consult with physicians & collaborate with nursing staff to develop patient treatment plans to promote respiratory wellness & safety standards
- Perform diagnostic tests and treat patients by using a variety of methods
- Monitor and record patients’ progress
- Teach patients, their families and staff how to use treatments and equipment
Respiratory Therapist Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in Respiratory Therapy required
- Current, valid & in good standing RRT
- Strong verbal, written communication & clinical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with nurses, doctors and other staff
Respiratory Therapist Physical Requirements:
- Patient, caring, respectful & sensitive towards patients & their families
- Be dependable & dedicated as patients depend on
