Position Objective:
We are currently seeking a hard working employee to join our team as a Stocker, their objective is to contribute to the efficient operation of the market by ensuring shelves are adequately stocked with high-quality German products. The ideal candidate is dedicated to maintaining the authenticity and appeal of the market, and aims to uphold standards of excellence while providing exceptional service to customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the storage conditions of goods received
- Coordinate retail space activities, dispose of trash and manage the cleanliness of the storeroom.
- Provide customer service since they work in a visible space on the floor while arranging merchandise.
- Stock the shelves with goods and keep inventory.
- Receive merchandise that comes in and ensure that the merchandise is unloaded and stored according to established procedure.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the store and enhance the appearance of the store by adopting the most appropriate display techniques.
Basic Qualifications:
- Previous experience in stocking, warehouse, or retail preferred, but not required.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy objects and boxes.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic math skills and ability to use inventory management systems or handheld devices.
Expectations:
- Efficiency: Stock shelves and replenish merchandise in a timely and efficient manner to ensure products are available for customers at all times.
- Accuracy: Ensure that products are stocked according to planograms and guidelines, with correct pricing and facing.
- Quality: Maintain high standards of quality and freshness for all products, removing any damaged or expired items promptly.
- Customer Focus: Prioritize customer satisfaction by providing assistance and support to customers and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with team members and management to achieve common goals.
- Initiative: Take initiative to identify and address areas for improvement in stocking procedures, inventory management, and overall efficiency.
