Hillside Custom Machining and Fabrication is an innovative and growing machine shop seeking CNC Operators.
CNC Machine Operators are responsible for setting up and operating various CNC machines.
Areas of responsibility for our CNC Machine Operators:
- Ability to load and unload machine with first piece checks and required documentation
- Control and adjust machine settings.
- Perform material handling or other miscellaneous operations.
- Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
- Operate portable powered type grinders to rough grind burrs, scale, rough edges or welds on a variety of types and sizes of parts.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED preferred with technical training
- In lieu of formal training, equivalent machining experience required
- Demonstrated basic knowledge required to operate the CNC equipment, including basic G-code knowledge.
- Experience operating material handling equipment (jib and overhead cranes) with proper use of lifting techniques
- Accurate layout and measuring experience preferred
