```Duties```
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a home care setting
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document medication administration accurately
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met
- Support individuals in participating in recreational activities and community outings
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for individuals
- Follow individualized care plans and communicate any changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisor
```Requirements```
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- Knowledge of systems related to developmental disabilities and person-centered care
- Ability to provide compassionate care and support to individuals with diverse needs
- Understanding of dementia care principles is a plus
- Ability to lift and transfer individuals as needed (up to 50 pounds)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
