Position Title: Project Manager Architect – K-12 Education Projects
Location: Remote work within 2 hour radius of Syracuse, NY (Main headquarters is Syracuse, NY)

Job Overview: Are you an experienced Architect Project Manager with at least 7 years of K-12 education project expertise? Are you seeking a career move that offers both professional growth and the flexibility of remote work? Look no further! In this role, you will play a key part in transforming educational landscapes by managing multiple architectural, interior design, and planning projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning:
- Collaborate with the Principal-in-Charge (PIC) to develop client contracts and sub-consultant agreements.
- Establish detailed work plans for each project, including project budgets, staffing requirements, and critical path schedules.
- Work closely with the PIC and fellow Project Managers to identify specific staff roles and resources needed for successful project execution.
- Develop and maintain a detailed Quality Control plan for each project.
Management and Communication:
- Lead internal and external teams to meet project requirements, ensuring high-quality service and deliverables.
- Establish clear communication protocols to foster collaboration.
- Set expectations and communicate effectively with all team members.
- Manage client communication and coordination.
Financial Management:
- Monitor project costs and identify billing amounts to clients each month.
- Identify potential contract changes and communicate with the Contract Manager to support fee changes with clients and consultants.
Quality Assurance:
- Oversee the implementation of design pin-up and technical review processes based on firm guidelines.
- Ensure the effective implementation of the Quality Control plan, track progress, communicate results, and verify corrections.
Management Systems:
- Contribute to the identification of potential improvements in the firm’s project management systems.
- Collaborate with other Project Managers in resource allocation and staff development to ensure the success of all projects in the firm.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture Project Management or a related management field.
- Minimum of seven years of relevant experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong management and mentoring skills.
- Good organizational and project financial management skills.
