Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Services Manager to join our renowned orthopedic practice. As a pivotal member of our management team, you will play a key role in overseeing the medical assistant staff, ensuring smooth clinical operations, and upholding the highest standards of patient care. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a team of Medical Assistants to deliver exceptional patient care
- Onboard and train new team members to the practice
- Be a resource to the day-to-day operations team
- Room patients, record vital signs, and accurately document clinical information in EMR
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms for efficient workflow
- Manage and prioritize clinical messages and communications effectively
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to optimize patient scheduling and care coordination
- Travel occasionally to satellite offices to support clinic operations
- Partner with other department managers to ensure seamless delivery of quality patient experiences
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant with a strong background in orthopedics desired
- Proven leadership experience in a clinical setting
- Management experience required
- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems and medical terminology
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to travel when required to satellite offices
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and team collaboration
