This role is 3rd shift, onsite full time and based at our Bardstown, Kentucky location.
What the Role Is
The 3rd Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment.
Schedule - 11:00 pm - 7:00 am Sunday night - Friday morning (Periodic Overtime on Saturday and Sunday required)
How You Will Spend Your Time?

Perform routine repairs and maintain all equipment to enhance efficiency and prevent malfunctions that could lead to production downtime and costly repairs

Troubleshoot malfunctions and locate source of problems by examining equipment and mechanical devices

Assist in line changes and process improvements

Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop equipment

Clean equipment, lubricate moving parts, change fluids, modify equipment and replace parts and components as required

Maintain records of all maintenance activities

Conduct preventive maintenance measures on structures, equipment, electrical, plumbing as well as facilities

Control downtime by informing production employees of routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitor compliance

Support and contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results and training production employees on efficient operation and basic routine maintenance procedures

Maintain positive work environment by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with co-workers, customers, clients and management

Who You Are…
-
Associate’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Maintenance Journeyman’s Card or equivalent certification
-
4+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience
-
4+ years of experience working as Maintenance Technician in Industrial Maintenance manufacturing environment

Highly motivated, energetic, and reliable
-
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
-
Working knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance techniques
Valued but not Required Skills and Experience
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field
-
Working knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting
-
Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques
-
Previous experience in the distilled spirits industry
Physical Requirements
