Responsibilities:
As an entry-level Assistant Field Technician, you are eager to learn! Each day, you go out in the field and assist our experienced technicians. As you assist them, they mentor and train you on everything from how to talk with customers to how to properly service and install equipment. You install and/or repair steel doors, high-speed rolling doors, commercial entry doors, sectional doors, and sheet doors. To complete your work, you operate a forklift and scissor lift. You also drive a company truck pulling various trailers with materials and equipment that are needed for each job.
You are a hard worker who does whatever is asked of you and pays close attention to what you’re being taught. You enjoy interacting with customers and fellow employees. Although you are an excellent team player, you can also excel independently. With great organizational skills, you track and maintain job-related paperwork and ensure that it is submitted in a timely manner. You are excited to learn and can’t wait to advance in this stable and well-paid career!
QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid driver’s license and a good driving record

Physical ability to lift 75 lbs overhead

Comfortable working from heights and in various weather conditions

Ability to pass a background check and drug test
Welding skills (welder certified) is a plus but not required. Do you have a positive, can-do attitude? Are you able to assess a situation and adjust with little supervision?
