What you’ll be doing:
Join our team at Medicus as an Events & Social Media Coordinator! You’ll be an integral part of day-to-day marketing operations, executing our event planning and social media sourcing strategies. As the Events & Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating a wide range of events, including tradeshows, presentations, and career fairs, ensuring they align with our company goals and target audiences. In tandem with event coordination, you'll leverage social media platforms to engage and build relationships with our clients. This role includes frequent travel opportunities, averaging about one trip per month. The Events & Social Media Coordinator will work under the direction of the Manager of Digital Marketing and interact with the entire Digital Marketing team and other internal departments.
In this role, you will:

Plan and execute a wide range of events, including tradeshows, presentations, career fairs, and more.
- Research and identify events that align with company goals and target audiences.
- Coordinate booth space reservations, logistics, and vendor relations for each tradeshow.

Develop and implement strategies to drive traffic to the conference booth and maximize attendee engagement.

Prepare for pre-conference meetings and training sessions to ensure that all Medicus staff attending the event are well-prepared and equipped with the necessary knowledge and materials.

Work closely with internal teams, vendors, and partners to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events.

Facilitate communication channels for sharing updates, important information, and any changes to the agenda leading up to the event.

Responsible for maintaining inventory of collateral materials and giveaways.
- Track and analyze key metrics, such as booth traffic and lead generation for each event.

Prepare post-event reports and insights to evaluate the success of each event.

Utilize social media platforms such as LinkedIn, X, Facebook, and others to identify potential customers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in social media algorithms to optimize provider sourcing strategies.

Potential for after-hour calls/calls on weekends to assist with any logistical issues that may arise with staff at the events.
- Available to travel to attend/staff events as requested by management – typical travel would be a few days a month.
- Be able to articulate each of Medicus’ service offerings, including proficiency in speaking across all provider specialties and client service offerings.
