Physical Therapist - Full Time or Part Time
Issaquah Physical Therapy has an opening for a full or part time Physical Therapist. At Issaquah Physical Therapy we strive to understand the complexity of each patient, getting to know their mind, body and spirit. We treat the whole person.
This is an excellent opportunity for professional and clinical development in multiple modalities (sports, running, rehabilitation, women’s health, vestibular) and building a practice that focuses on each patient's journey toward positive health and wellness. The Physical Therapist will carry out an individualized program of physical therapy including assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, education, and communication to maximize a patient's progress toward achieving functional goals. The Physical Therapist will also maintain a positive working relationship with other health professionals and our care team staff.
Duties/Responsibilities:
● Provides direct patient care, evaluates functional needs and outcomes, and consults with other specialists. Reviews patients functional needs and adjusts care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
● Designs and implements a plan of care for patients based on a thorough assessment of potential development and incorporates participation by significant others whenever it seems appropriate.
● Directs the assistance of support staff to achieve patients functional goals.
● Communicates effectively with other professional and support staff to achieve positive patient outcomes.
● Documents evaluations, treatment goals, and plans as well as regularly updates documentation.
● Enhances professional growth and development of self and others through participation in educational programs and workshops. Keeps up to date on professional literature.
● Provides direction and leadership to staff and acts as a resource to promote physical therapy in the community.
● Understand and live the company’s mission, values and operational standards.
Requirements:
● Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Program (APTA) approved physical therapy program. New graduates welcome.
● Recommended at least one year of experience as a physical therapist.
● Current state physical therapy license.
● Drive to pursue personal and professional goals
