Key Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining confidentiality of all doctors, staff, and patient information.
- Completing accurate documentation of patients visits.
- Entering data into a Medical EMR - (E-clinical Works).
- Triaging patients and flow of the office from check-in desk to see the physician in a timely manner.
- Prepping procedure and exam rooms prior to check-in time of patient’s appointments.
- Efficiently communicating with insurance companies and pharmacies to coordinate necessary prior authorizations and medication refills for cardiac and vein patients.
- Confidently communicating and faxing necessary patient documents to other physicians' offices.
- Performing in-office testing such as EKG's and assisting the physician with Stress Tests on the treadmill.
- Ensuring patient confidentiality in regards to patients lab results and attentiveness to all concerns and questions patients may have.
- Efficiently monitoring inventory and ordering medical supplies for exam and procedure rooms.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Personal car for frequent interoffice travel
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in a healthcare facility and 1 year in an Administrative receptionist position
- 2 years of customer service experience
- Ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Ultrasound Technology
- Working knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
- Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multitask
- Completion of a certificate program in the medical field
