Clinic RN Supervisor Health Education & Podiatry $3,000 Sign-on Bonus - Summary:
The Registered Nurse Supervisor performs personnel and administrative functions for two small departments, caring for a patient population which is largely shared, for the purpose of ensuring safe, professional nursing care. The supervisor may also act as a backup to staff within the team. Our Podiatry department consists of one busy provider and three staff including an RN, CMA, CNA, and the Health Education department consists of a Care Coordination RN, an Anticoagulation RN, and a Dietitian.
Clinic RN Supervisor Health Education & Podiatry - Qualifications:
- Current Wisconsin RN license required, two years' RN experience and CPR/BLS certification required
- One year supervisory or leadership experience; BSN degree preferred, five years' RN experience, including one year of podiatry or health education experience preferred
- Prior Epic and clinic experience preferred
Clinic RN Supervisor Health Education & Podiatry - Responsibilities:
- Schedules, plans, coordinates, supervises and assigns daily activities of approximately 6 staff between the two departments.
- Regularly communicates with providers and staff to identify and resolve issues.
- Approves time off requests and schedule changes. Reviews and corrects employee timesheets.
- Monitors performance of staff, writes performance evaluations, and recommends merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
- Assists with hiring of staff. Oversees the orientation and training of new staff, ensuring staff is clinically competent. Acts as a content expert in standardized workflows. Gathers and evaluates data to improve practice support, quality care and competency of clinical staff.
- May acts as a Registered Nurse and provide backup to staff.
