Registered Nurse - Acute - Critical Care Nurse Residency

Marshfield Medical Center, the Marshfield Clinic Health System flagship hospital, cares for patients from throughout central, northern, and western Wisconsin. Marshfield Medical Center offers primary, secondary, tertiary and Level II Trauma Center hospital services provided by Marshfield Clinic specialists.
The Critical Care Nurse Residency Program is an intensive six-month paid multi-modality program offering classroom education, simulation lab, online and on-the-job clinical training in a tertiary care environment.
New grads - start as a Nurse Tech until you are licensed! New graduate nurses start with a Medical/Surgical phase of the program for up to 8 weeks, allowing you to achieve clinical skill development including organization, time management, prioritization, and care delivery of patients with various disease processes.
During the next Critical Care phase, nurses are in the critical care setting for approximately 36 hours per week to gain hands-on skill and knowledge in caring for the critical patient under direction of a preceptor and nurse educator. You will develop critical care skills, knowledge of advanced critical care issues, and advanced skills.
