Our client provides a comprehensive integrated multidisciplinary critical care team providing care to critical care patients in the hospital and ambulatory patients in the office.
Responsibilities:
- See new ICU patients
- Admit new consults
- Manage acute critical care patients
- Physicians available for consultation or in-person as needs dictate
- Admit new patients to medical ICUs
- Code team
- Cerner – electronic medical record
- Maintains an office schedule to provide care to office patients
Education, Training and Experience Required:
- Licensed in the State of Alabama or willingness to obtain license
- Experienced in hospital rounding, discharge and admitting patients
- 1 -2 years Intensivist experience preferred
- Comfortable working autonomously
