We are a busy, San Francisco based residential interior design firm looking for an Interior Design Assistant to join our team. You will work directly with the Principal on all aspects of design work including sourcing, project management, drafting, photoshoots, and installations. This role is a part-time, hourly position with the potential for full-time.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or equivalent
- 1-2 years professional interior design experience
Technical Skills
Must be proficient in:
- AutoCad
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Adobe Photoshop
- SketchUp or Revit (not required but a huge plus!)
- Studio (preferred)

Responsibilities:
- AutoCAD drawings for floor plans, interior elevations, and furniture design
- Collaborate with Principal on design development of projects
- Create presentation materials for client meetings
- Assist with implementation and installation of projects
- Create proposals and POs in Studio
- Correspond with vendors regarding product specs, orders, and samples
Compensation - Pay is commensurate with experience
