**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced and skilled Security Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining complex security systems, ensuring the safety and security of our facilities and personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer networking, mechanical knowledge, and experience with CCTV systems. The Security Systems Engineer will work closely with our IT and facilities teams to ensure seamless integration of all security systems. **Duties:** - Design and install security systems, including CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems. - Perform routine maintenance and repairs on security systems, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. - Conduct thorough inspections of security systems to ensure they are functioning properly and meet all relevant regulations. - Collaborate with IT and facilities teams to ensure security systems are integrated with other building systems. - Develop and implement comprehensive security protocols to protect company assets and data. - Perform regular system updates and upgrades to ensure all security systems are current and compliant with industry standards. - Utilize hand and power tools to perform tasks, including climbing ladders and working in tight spaces. - Read blueprints and understand electrical and mechanical systems to ensure proper installation of security equipment. - Obtain necessary permits and licenses for installation of security systems. - Maintain accurate records of security system maintenance and repairs. - Provide training and technical support to security personnel and other stakeholders. **Skills:** - Strong understanding of computer networking and low voltage systems. - Experience with CCTV systems and ability to troubleshoot technical issues. - Knowledge of NEC and ability to apply electrical and mechanical knowledge to security system installation. - Possess a valid service technician's license. - Proficiency with hand and power tools, including ladders and climbing equipment. - Ability to read blueprints and understand electrical and mechanical systems. - Certification in security systems or related field is preferred. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong communication and customer service skills. - Physical stamina to perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.
