We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and self-motivated Sales Executive for the North Central region of the United States (South/North Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota or Wisconsin). We are seeking highly motivated individuals who are driven to succeed, possess an entrepreneurial spirit, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Job Description/Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities in order to achieve sales goals.
- Develop pre-call planning objectives and questioning strategies to ensure effective and efficient customer meetings.
- Make effective use of Consultative Selling skills to build rapport and establish trust with existing customers and prospects.
- Identify, capture and articulate customer needs.
- Develop presentations and deliver persuasive communications to customers and prospects.
- Effectively present solutions and negotiate contracts.
- Participate in and represent the organization at trade shows, conferences and seminars; and assist with other marketing efforts as needed.
- Regularly update and maintain the accuracy of our CRM database.
- Maintain and enhance professional and technical knowledge through review of professional publications, establishment of professional networks, and participation in professional organizations.
- Prepare sales reports as required and participate in a weekly sales call.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in the organization to ensure we are providing exceptional customer experiences.
- Keep abreast of the competitive landscape, new technology, and market developments.
- Travel extensively to cover the territory including overnight stays for scheduled customer meetings, tradeshows, training workshops, and corporate meetings. 50% + travel required.
- Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate a professional demeanor with a strong work ethic, representing Barry-Wehmiller with high integrity.
Qualifications:
- Possess a College or University degree; or over seven years related sales experience
- Demonstrated track record of sales success (achievements, rankings, stats)
- Maintain a professional demeanor that encompasses Barry Wehmiller’s core values and guiding principles
- Experience in capital equipment sales is required; experience selling into the Pharmaceutical industry is a plus
- Reside in the defined territory (South/North Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota or Wisconsin) & be local to a major airport.

At Barry-Wehmiller Integrated Systems, we believe in rewarding excellence, and your hard work will be duly recognized and appreciated. The compensation for this role will consist of acompetitive base salary with a range between $75,000 - $100,000 commensurate with experience and geographical location plus high earning potential in uncapped commissions in addition to a robust benefits package.
