Retail Store Manager Job Responsibilities: Our retail store manager will be instrumental in launching, and the sales and operation of our first ever brick-and-mortar store, opening soon in Las Vegas. Your entrepreneurial spirit and ability to make good business judgments will help us develop and continuously improve the operating procedures for the store. You model the behavior of a servant leader- flexibility, empathy, stewardship, and listening and put the team and organization first for better employee and customer satisfaction. Using cutting edge technology, you will enable our customers to shop seamlessly between our website and retail store. You will recruit, hire, train and enable a team of highly personable associates to help our customers Illuminate their World.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Drive business to support the sales plan and potential, with focus on increasing designated KPIs (key performance indicators).
· Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and by resolving in favor of the customer.
· Manage and control Inventory, loss prevention, operational and payroll costs.
· Effectively schedule a staff of employees to meet business needs.
· Ensure store sales floor, visual merchandising, and back of house reflect Olight brand standards.
· Ship and receive product, process and prep for the sales floor.
· Report to leadership on buying trends, customer needs, and profitability.
· Develop pro-active relationships with Fashion Show Las Vegas mall office and tenants for awareness and participation in mall events and social media.
· Develop pro-active relationships to ensure the best level of communication and support for both Olight corporate and Olight Fashion Show Las Vegas.
· Propose innovative ideas to leadership to increase market size.
· Assist in the development and the support of store events.
· Recruit, on-board, train, develop and coach store talent.
· Develop personnel performance plans and appraisals, including the use of disciplinary action as needed.
Experience:
- · Strong leadership and organizational skills balanced with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
· Exhibits business acumen (good judgement and quick decisions) within the framework of policy and procedure.
· Flexible attitude and willingness to not only lead but learn.
· Highly skilled in Point of Sale (POS) Systems. Ability to analyze data, cashier and assist customers with Online Orders.
· Solid computer skills, with experience in Microsoft Word and Excel, and email platforms.
· Ability to create work schedules that meet the needs of the business.
· Talent for developing and motivating teams, during busy and slow times.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills. You will be helping in the creation of training programs, policy and procedures, and provide qualitative data on the store and customer experience.
· Open availability, able to work a minimum of 40 hours a week during a variety of hours including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
