JOB DESCRIPTION:
Part-time position that will work up to 29 hours a week working in the school campus store providing exceptional customer service as well as maintaining the storage room inventory and stock of apparel and merchandise.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Address and answer routine inquiries from students, staff, and guests.
- Perform activities in preparation for the opening and closing of the store.
- Help keep store clean and merchandise displayed in an appealing manner,
- Detail oriented with the ability to work independently.
- Assist with inventory, restocking of food, beverages, spirit items, athletic equipment, and store apparel.
- Assist in purchasing procedures for the store and school apparel.
- Help manage the store's visual presentation to create an exciting campus store environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- General retail experience is a plus.
- Must be able to lift at least 25lbs.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Flexibility in scheduling a must.
- Experience in purchasing and working with vendors is a plus.
- Experience with POS systems, inventory management systems is a plus.
