Permit Technician
Office Administrator and Permit Technician play an essential role in keeping our office efficient and running smoothly. Regular and reliable contact with both co-workers and customers will be a key role for this position
Position Expectations
- Answer the phone and provide follow up phone calls, emails and chat with customers within our admin / client App (Co-Construct).
- Interact with developers, contractors and customers on related permitting
- Receives, reviews and processes permits, ensuring accuracy and completeness within a timely manner.
- Ensure inspections are followed through and finalized
- Call, schedule and record inspections.
- Filing and organization of customer paperwork for future reference
- Providing outstanding customer service
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- 3 years of related experience
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- MUST be organized
- MUST be detail oriented
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, departments, government officials and the public
- Ability to prepare and compose clear and concise emails and reports
- Knowledge of permit processes, timelines related to building / construction projects
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
