SUMMARY:
This position will be responsible for all new hire onboarding and continuous hands-on EHR training for staff. This position works closely with the management team to ensure that processes and procedures are developed, and adhered to, in order to create a productive and efficient work environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Responsible for promptly notifying management of all issues and concerns

Proactively recommends ideas for change to improve workflow process to management team

Maintains and follows strict confidentiality guidelines
-
May be assigned projects as business needs arise, to follow through to completion

Work with HIT provider on systems implementation training
SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES:

Providing hands on, in-depth EHR training to new hires
-
Ongoing education of new processes and features within eClinicalWorks (“eCW “)
-
One-on-one training for process improvement
-
Run/analyze reports and make recommendations.

Close communication with the management team, providing input on new hire, 30-, 60- and 90-day reviews of employee progress, and other focused training programs.

Create and implement new hire training programs for each role

Attend national and/or local educational training events

Travel:

This position will require travel to all business locations for training purposes. Orthopedic Associates reserves the right to relocate position duties to other locations, including satellite offices.
Education and Experience:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or Healthcare Informatics, plus five (5) years’ experience in practice management.
-
Substantive industry experience in providing education and training to healthcare staff.
-
Extensive working knowledge of electronic health record systems, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, clinical medicine, surgery, diagnostic tests, radiology, pathology, pharmacology, and the various medical specialties as required in areas of responsibility.

eClinicalWorks (eCW) experience a plus.

EHR Trainer certification preferred
