Position Summary:
We have an immediate opening for a highly motivated person in a Material Handler position on first shift for someone with a desire to work in a fast paced, quality centered environment. If you take pride in your work and have a 'can-do' attitude, we want to talk with you! This role is vital to supporting the future growth of our business.
Job Responsibilities:

Comply with all safety procedures and in/outdoor tidy maintenance guidelines; ensure the safety, security, and sanitation of workspaces; conduct periodic inspections of the warehouse.

Safely operate forklift to handle materials and stock.

Ensure daily equipment inspections are complete prior to shift starts reporting deficiencies immediately.

Accurately and promptly follow written/oral instructions regarding daily job duties.

Fulfill orders by pulling product and packaging and prepare necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently.

Issue material to work orders using a kiosk or handheld scanner.

Strap/re-skid products as required; must have the ability to use and operate hand tools (including pneumatic tools).

Maintain accurate documents and records for all handled and shipped goods.
- Sort cargo while loading or unloading marking containers with identifying information; inspect product for quality control and stock level issues.

Keep and maintain an inventory by labeling, identifying, and placing materials in stock; periodically pull and review inventory and supplies to ensure stock numbers are correct.

Ensure all products anticipated to ship for the day will be complete including shipping prep: pull, pack, rate, load, and securing the product.

Be available to load/unload a variety of materials from trucks/vans using necessary equipment.
Minimum Requirements:

Complete pre-employment assessments.

Prior experience working in industrial manufacturing is preferred.

At least one year's experience in inventory management preferred.
- Ability to issue material to work orders using a kiosk or handheld scanner is required.

Demonstrated punctual and dependable performance with consistent schedule adherence.

Ability to identify parts using a written description and drawing is required.

Ability to work in an environment that is not climate controlled is required.

Ability to run various types of propane or electric powered forklifts and/or hand trucks required; current forklift operation certification preferred.

Ability to lift 50 or more pounds as needed throughout work shift.

Ability to work scheduled hours as required by the company, occasional overtime hours may be required/scheduled.

Strong attention to detail required.

Strong English oral and written communications skills, strong mathematics skills; ability to read and understand shipping manifests and related documents required.
Royal offers a competitive pay package that includes an hourly wage paid weekly and a production bonus paid monthly totaling $18.00 per hour. $16.00 per hour is paid weekly. The production bonus is paid monthly and pays a year-to-date average of $2.00 per hour.
