Job Overview:
We are seeking Vehicle Aquisition Coordinators to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring new customers and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. Responsibilities:
Set an appointment for customers to come in to have their vehicle appraised and review potential upgrade options with a manager, document the appointment in the CRM and the designated Calendar.
Generate follow up for each customer; assign additional follow up as necessary.
Complete to-do list daily; complete ongoing follow up with customers until they visit the dealership or express otherwise.
Check personal voicemail and e-mail each day, check the voicemail of co-workers that may be off for the day, follow up with all messages in a timely manner.
Answer phone within 3 rings, pick up the phone at co-workers’ desk when they are not available.
Consult with the sales management team to determine the outcome of appointments that were set.
Work with department manager to set monthly goals and reach forecasting objectives.
Check yesterday’s appointments for no-shows and follow up to reschedule.
Create e-mail templates or compose personal e-mails.
Build relationships with customers through follow up; actively listen to the customer and ask questions when necessary to understand customers concern, direct calls to other areas of dealership when necessary to meet the needs of the customer.
Utilize Excel to maintain a log of show/sold appointments within Microsoft Teams for commission purposes.
Handles customer complaints with integrity and poise and, when necessary, refers dissatisfied customer to appropriate individual for resolution.
Experience:
- Proven experience in sales, particularly in outside sales or automotive sales
- Familiarity with retail sales practices and strategies
- Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
- Strong understanding of upselling techniques
- Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
