Responsibilities:

Electrical System Installation: Perform skilled electrical installations, including wiring, conduit fittings, electrical panels, motor controls, lighting fixtures, and other components.

Electrical Repairs and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electrical issues in industrial equipment, machinery, and control systems. Utilize testing devices and tools to identify faults and implement effective solutions.

Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to detect potential problems and prevent breakdowns.

Blueprint Interpretation: Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute electrical installations and modifications.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure work environment and minimize risks associated with industrial electrical work.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and collaborate with engineers, technicians, and maintenance personnel to achieve project goals effectively.

Equipment Upgrades and Retrofits: Participate in upgrading and retrofitting existing electrical systems and equipment to enhance efficiency and meet industry standards.

Emergency Repairs: Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns to minimize downtime and production interruptions.
Qualifications:

Experience: Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electrician.

Education: Must have a High School Diploma or Certified GED. A state of TEXAS Electrical Apprentice card is preferred.

Technical Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in electrical systems, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations. Understand electrical schematics and blueprints.

Safety Conscious: Exhibit a strong commitment to safety practices and adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations.

Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, climb ladders, operate lifts, and handle physically demanding tasks.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.

Attention to Detail: Display precision and accuracy in executing electrical tasks to maintain high-quality work standards.

Time Management: Efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.

English/Spanish bilingual is a plus

Comfortability handling handguns and familiarity with handgun knowledge is preferred, but not required
