Avondale School District is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with speech and language disorders, helping them develop effective communication skills for academic and social success.
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations to assess speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs.
- Provide therapy in individual or group settings to target articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' speech and language goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Arizona state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Arizona Department of Education License: Required for working in Arizona public schools.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC): Required for providing speech-language pathology services.
