We are seeking a Recruiter to join our HR team. This position will report to the VP of Human Resources and be responsible for hourly manufacturing recruitment as well as conducting onboarding activities.

Job Responsibilities

Develop & update job postings, announcements & ads for internal & external staffing needs

Conducting phone screenings, interviews & plant tours with external candidates

Discuss outcomes and staffing decisions with interested internal candidates
-
Coordinate post offer and fit for duty Physical Capacity Profile testing
-
Maintain all pertinent applicant & interview data as directed
-
Coordinate background checks and drug screenings for potential employees
-
Coordinate screening, interviewing & selection process activities
-
Prepare & deliver offer packages
-
Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine staffing levels and requirements, planning for future staffing

Assist onboarding of new hire employees, new hire paperwork and conduct orientations as needed

Research new ways of using the internet & social media for recruitment

Develop active & passive candidates pools & maintain contact as necessary, use sourcing techniques to recruit candidates to Blum
-
Attend career fairs for recruiting & company recognition and branding

Expected to keep a high level of confidentiality as this position is exposed to HR related topics

Perform various other HR duties as directed

Work’s office schedule with flexibility to work overtime or whenever required-may be required to work early morning hours to meet with employees or candidates on 3rd shift as well as later evening hours to meet with employees or candidates on 2nd shift

Position may be required to assist with HR related projects or administrative duties
Job Requirements

HS diploma or GED required
-
2-year degree or higher in an HR related field is preferred
-
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a recruiting or staffing role
-
Prior experience with Applicant Tracking System (ADP preferred)

Knowledge of business law in relation to HR & employee employment rights & how to apply them within your day-to-day work
-
Experience with internet & social media trends to aid in candidate sourcing & recruiting

Knowledge of federal/state employment laws, regulations & benchmarked best practices
